To my followers, and you random browser.
After trying out Tumblr, I have found it much more accommodating to my style and needs. So I have decided to relocate there. I have moved my best work to Tumblr, and will be adding new work there only. So don't look for new work on this blog anymore. Thanks for everything blogger, but I must move on.

So I've been a busy busy bee last quarter, the reason why I haven't updated in a while, Im currently working on a traditional painting for commission, im just waiting for the final green light so I can get all the materials I need for it. So I decided to update this thing and show off some fresh work. Hope you like.

Olivia Wilde

Well I dont usually do realistic stuff as you can probably tell by, I dunno looking at anything ive done before... but I thought I'd try my hand at it, to see if I can do it at all or not. And who better to try it out on than the lovely Olivia Wilde? This took me approximately 5 hours, but yes I did work from a photograph so I do feel a little dirty... but it was a practice of execution not creativity so I dont feel that bad lol. I did have alot of fun with this actually, rendering all the minute details and the textures.... I could definitly do something like this again.

Megan's Endless Fall

So I held a little mini competition on my facebook, and the winner gota free illustration of whatever they wanted. My friend Megan won and wanted me to illustrate her in the game Portal in the middle of "the endless fall."

I was kinda nervous because I had never done a commission like this before, and although I wasn't getting paid for it, it was still supposed to be a "prize" lol so It would of been pretty embarrassing if it came out like crap. All in all though I think it came out pretty good, and she liked it alot and allowed it to grace her profile pic on facebook lol. So maybe I'll be open to commissions in the future :)

Not much to say bout these really... Experimenting with a new way of coloring that my professor showed the class one day. Changed up a little of the finishings to make it my own, but yeah Im pretty happy with how the final results look :)
